Automatically compacts the sample and shuts off after completing the preset number of blows. The
trip mechanism is arranged so that the hammer falls the same distance for every blow. Molds are held
in position by a spring loaded ring and are easily inserted and removed from the compactor. The
hammer is held in position by a locking device which makes it simple to insert and remove. Height:

Solid state design reduces the affects of vibration. Mounted in the same location as the mechanical
counter. Each blow is detected by a sensor and recorded on the LED display. The counter
automatically shuts off the compactor when it reaches the preset number of blows. The override
switch will bypass the internal circuitry which allows the operator to run the compactor manually. |
