E5HT Series HotSpot RDE Tips
MAXIMUM ROTATION RATE: 3000 RPM -- Never exceed maximum rotation rate when working with rotating electrodes.
MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE: 80 Celsius -- Electrode damage may occur at temperatures higher than 80 Celsius.
CHEMICAL INCOMPATIBILITIES: Concentrated Strong Acids -- Damage or discoloration may occur.

The E5 Series RDE tips feature a PEEK shroud which is designed for use at elevated temperatures. This tough and chemically resistant shroud material is ideal for applications where the RDE tip undergoes thermal cycling on a daily basis.
Designed for fuel cell electrocatalyst research use, this RDE tip provides the platform you need to study catalyst behavior from 20 to 80 Celsius.
NOTE: PEEK-shrouded RDE tips are more difficult to polish by hand than traditional Teflon-shrouded electrodes. Also note that some discoloration of the PEEK material may occur after prolonged use in dilute acid solutions.
